How an item travels

GoExchange is not a shipping company and does not assign a carrier. After a trade is accepted, the people in it choose a local handover or a shipment.

Local handover

Meet and hand the item over. Each person confirms what they gave and what they received. Nothing is marked shipped.

Shipped

The sender types the carrier they actually use and a tracking number. The receiver confirms the item when it arrives. The tracking number stays on the exchange.
