Privacy Policy & Terms of Service

Current terms for GoExchange in the United States. Updated 29 Oct 2026.

Creating an account means you accept these terms. A lawyer has not separately reviewed them. They do not waive rights that the law keeps. Card payments are not open.

Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

GoExchange is a United States marketplace for local handover. Prices are in US dollars. This policy describes the account, listing, message, and trade records the site keeps.

2. Data We Collect

Account details, listing and message content, support tickets, fulfillment notes, and the agreement record for an accepted trade. Card numbers stay with the payment provider.

3. How We Use Your Data

To run accounts, show listings, deliver messages, record agreements, answer support tickets, and investigate abuse. The help assistant answers from the published questions.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

When payments are enabled, Stripe processes the charge and payout onboarding. PayPal is not a GoExchange payment provider. GoExchange does not sell personal data. A handover address is shown to the other party on that exchange, not on the public listing.

5. Your Rights

You can export account data from settings and request closure. Closure does not erase transaction records that still have to be kept. Access and deletion requests go through the support form.

6. Data Retention

Agreement, payment, dispute, and review records stay while a dispute, refund, or legal duty may still apply.

7. Security Measures

Sign-in can require an authenticator. Changing a category or closing a report can require that second step. A payment is confirmed by the payment provider, not by returning to the site.

Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These are the terms for using GoExchange. Creating an account records the version you accepted. A lawyer has not separately reviewed this text.

2. Account Registration

You must be 18 or older. You confirm your email before the account can be used. An account may be asked to finish authenticator setup before sensitive actions.

3. Buying, selling, and trading

Listings, offers, and messages are between the participants. An accepted agreement names the goods, the payer, the recipient, and any cash amount. The listing owner is not assumed to receive the money.

4. Goods only and goods plus cash

A goods-only trade does not create a charge and does not require payout setup. A cash amount is unpaid until the payment provider confirms it. Receiving the goods is a separate step.

5. Fees

The active marketplace fee is zero. A future fee would be shown before acceptance. Stripe processing costs are separate and are not waived by a zero platform fee.

6. Fulfillment

Participants can record a local handover or a carrier and tracking number. A typed tracking number is not carrier verification. Each person confirms their own sending and receipt. GoExchange does not insure shipments and does not authenticate goods.

7. Payments

When payments are open, a successful card charge can be paid to the person receiving the money. That is not escrow and not a hold until delivery. Checkout is not open yet.

8. Refunds, chargebacks, and disputes

A refund exists only when the payment provider records it. Opening a dispute does not by itself refund anyone. Chargeback responsibility is not approved.

9. Prohibited goods

Fraud, counterfeit claims presented as fact, and misuse of another person’s account are not allowed. A full prohibited-goods list is not approved. Live animals stay unavailable.

10. Support and enforcement

Support is a saved ticket, not a live agent and not a 24-hour desk. Accounts that break these rules can be restricted. Restriction does not delete trade history.

11. Liability

GoExchange provides the marketplace. It does not guarantee the other participant, the goods, delivery, or recovery of money. These terms do not take away rights a court or statute would still enforce.

12. Changes

The date on this page changes when these terms change. The next time you are asked to accept them, the new date applies to later use.

Questions go to the support form.
